My dad is from Yemen. He arrived to America in 1992, at the age of 18. My dad came to America to make money and have a better life. Even tho his family was wealthy but they wouldn’t provide for him. When he America he decided to work in his uncle's deli. So he worked so hard he saved up his own money and opened up his own deli. He was pushed and pulled because even tho his family has money he wasn't given any. This object is important to my dad because it shows how hard he worked and the things he achieved. This object shows that some immigrants come to America to live the American dream. This is important because it shows what my father has been through to make it this far.
