A polished gold ring

This item you see over here is a gold Indian ring that was made by my ancestors in the late 19th century. The British started to make our ancestors mine golds and other precious stone when one time, he snuck some gold and a bit of ruby in his pocket. He went home and made the gold ring you see here. During hard times he and his wife poured milk and honey and did daily prayers to it, treating it as a god. The ring was first made more different than this but over time my ancestors polished it more and more. They say that once the British found out that he and his wife snuck out gold they whipped them seriously hard. To this day the ring stays perfect just how it is like. My grandma has the ring and everyone in the house worships them. The first time I saw it was when I was 8 years old, the visual images in my mind are playing tricks with me. I last worshipped it at 5/30/2024 when we were going to settle down in USA. Even if we were far away from my grandmas house, during festivals we celebrated the ring too.
