On June 27, 2011, when I turned fifteen, my mother gave me a ring for my birthday and because I was her only daughter. When she gave me the ring, she told me that it was really special for her because it symbolized the great relationship that she had with my grandmother. My grandmother had given my mother the ring the day before her wedding. My grandmother told me to take care of the ring because the ring had great meaning for my family. The ring is very special to me because it reminds me of both my mother and my grandmother. The ring is special treasure for me, so I keep it in a small box where no one can see it. l only wear the ring on special occasions because I’m afraid of losing it.
