 A picture of my parents
A picture of my parents

My object is something special.  My object is simple and is made of paper.  If you think about the material probably you think that is not too valuable.  This photo is really valuable to me emotionally. This picture was taken in 1999 at Valley Fair.  My parents were immigrants they move to the United States because they wanted a better life for my siblings but my parents left them in Mexico.  My parents had to return to Mexico.  When my parents returned to Mexico they bring this picture. I grew up in Mexico but I made a decision to come to the United States to fulfill my dreams and goals. When I returned to the United States I brought it with me to remember my parents.  When I brought the picture it was ripped and I taped it with transparent tape so that I could keep it.  When I feel lonely I look at my parents' picture and I remember them better and I feel better too.  They are my inspiration to not give up and I’m here to help them.  Seeing the picture of my parents reminds me of advice that they gave to me to do the things well and to be able to make good decisions.  I am grateful to my parents for their great effort.
