A Bracelet from My grandmother
My object is the bracelet my grandmother gave me when we immigrated to the United States but she stayed in Bangladesh. This bracelet represents the very strong connection among the women in my family, especially my connection to the most important woman in my life, my grandmother. This is the last gift I got from her. When she gave it to me, she said it would remind me of her. I love my bracelet so much. When I look at this bracelet, it reminds me of the good times I spent with my grandmother. I celebrated my 16th birthday with her, and that was the last birthday celebration I had with her. I wear this bracelet every year on my birthday and on other special days. When I wear it, I can feel her touch, which makes me happy. I am so far away from her but, through the bracelet, I feel she is always with me. It reminds me of her love and concern for me.
