A baseball

An object that is special to me is a baseball. I started playing wiffle ball in my backyard with my neighbor when I was in 3rd grade. It was really fun, and I wanted to play baseball even though I had never played before. My first game I played pitcher and knew that I loved it from the first second. Ever since then, I have dedicated a lot to improving as a player, and baseball has taught me many things, not just about the game but about life. A baseball is important to me because every time I hold one I remember all the happy and sad moments, and I remember when I’ve played bad or made mistakes, or played good and won. I think about all the fun times I've had with my teammates and all of the fun times that are coming up playing in high school. It is so important because I remember all the hours and hard work I put into the sport I love.
