Filoli Woodside, CA

Many people have called Filoli home, from the native Ohlone people, to Spanish settlers, to Filoli’s owners and their staff of thirty individuals. Most of the historic staff im/migrated to California and created a home built from different cultures, languages, and beliefs. As the modern Filoli community grows, so do these diverse stories.

This year, we're highlighting the many ways that the Filoli community celebrates the winter holidays -- whether by lighting the menorah, opening an alms box, celebrating first fruits, or eating a bowl of Toshikoshi soba. Join in by adding the story and photo of an object that's central to your holiday tradition! Please use #Filoli. We may share on our other social media platforms.
