Your story
Help us tell a more complete story of American immigration and migration by contributing a family object story to the collection.
The Chicago Literacies Program at the Chicago History Museum works with Latinx students in grades 3 and 4 in the City of Chicago. The students come from a variety of Chicago's communities such as: Pilsen, Little Village, Back of the Yards, Belmont-Craigan, Brighton Park, Albany Park, and Logan Square. They are documenting their families migration stories through family heirlooms.
