WW2 Document

My object is a WW2 document. The document is a paper that says the insignia of each army and rank. For example, Lt.commander looks like a triangle on a square with a star on it. They put that on their uniforms so that soldiers see that they outrank them. However, the army insignias are different. For example, the first army has an eagle with a rifle in its beak. That is just a small part of my great grandfather's WW2 document.
All in all, I chose this object because it was used by my great grandfather in WW2. Also,I like it because it shows some of my family history. It shows me that I am in a family with a fighting spirit and if you want to question that my great great great great great great great great great grandfather fought in the battle of Hastings all the way back in 1066. This object connects me with my family's past like I’ve never felt and I really enjoyed that.
Speaking of the past I have a few questions that I wish he was alive to answer. My first question is “how did you get the object?” My second question is “why did you need it?” But as much as I want to ask more questions I am going to give my final thought and I think that this thing that somehow got into my hands is so awesome like it's almost a century old so incredible. Anyway, that is My great grandfather's WW2 document.
