My artifact is a worry doll. This type of doll is mostly found in Spanish countries though this one came from Guatemala. This doll is used to get rid of your worries. To get rid of your worries you must whisper your worries to the doll and they are to disappear.My worry doll is stuffed, is partially made of cloth, and has some leather upon her feet. Her hair and curls are made of yarn, she wears a white shirt with a flower embedded upon it, and a multi-colored skirt.I chose this artifact because I tell it my worries and it helps me get rid of them. It is owned by most people living in Guatemala and teaches of my culture. My mom, Karen, is connected to the worry doll because she is the one who brought it here. She immigrated here in 1983. My mom really loves the worry doll because it helps her deprive her worries of what to feed upon.
