My object  is a wooden horse made by my great grandpa named Ralph for my mom. It came from Queens, New York.. It is a piece of art used for viewing. My family uses it to look at and admire. My mom really liked horses which is the reason why he made it. It is made of wood. My great grandpa did  wood carving  for a hobby in his free time while he was not driving a beer truck .

The horse was a cool carving that I wanted to learn more about. I learned that my great grandpa was born and raised in Puerto Rico. This is connected to my mom because Ralph made it for my mom. Ralph came from Puerto Rico around 1915. I just wanted to learn more about the horse. 

One question I have for him is: what made him decide to make a horse or this wood carving at all? In conclusion I have been wondering what this was for a long time and I’m happy I finally found out.
