Willow the hamster
When I was 11 I felt lonely at my home, and I only had a dog. I also used to have fish. One day I begged my parents to get me a hamster at Petsmart. My dad said yes and he found a cage for her online for $40. He bought it and my mom went to get it. When she got home with the cage, we set it upm and I thought it was a small cage. We then had to get bedding for the hamster. My mom came back with this brown bedding made out of paper. The next day, I woke up very early, I brushed my teeth, made myself breakfast and took a shower. Then my parents woke up and did their morning basics to get ready for the day. Then we took off to go get the hamster. When we got to Petsmart, I looked at the hamsters and then I saw the perfect hamster for me. It was a robo hamster and I named her Willow. I was so excited to get her! My mom also told us what she really wants and it’s a Guinea pig. We got a hamster instead of a Guinea pig. When we got home I took her inside and opened the box then she was scared and nervous about the new look and the new smells. Then dad tipped the box up, she went sliding into her cage, then went running up to her tunnel then stayed there in her tunnel. Ok now let’s skip a couple weeks now we got the hamster a name and the name is willow. When I got to school my friend told me to get the cage from her so I bought it. When we put it up and got bedding in we let willow go in and she looked happy and I felt happy for Willow and now she ain’t shy but she still bites. My hamster is important to me because I was shy and bored at home until we got her I felt different.
