This necklace may seem like a regular necklace but to me it’s so much more. When I was 6 years old, I received this necklace as a gift from my godparents during my baptism and I've been wearing it ever since. It’s a gold necklace with a beautiful pendant of Virgin Mary. Baptism is a ceremony when you wash away your sins and rebirth into a new life in Christ. This necklace is special to me because my baptism was an important part of my life and connection with God. It also reminds me of the party that we had and people who were there to celebrate with me on that day. This necklace also brings memories of the speech that the priest had that day. That speech had stuck to me ever since that day. I will treasure this necklace forever because it reminds me of a day that I will never forget.
