My ring is made of gold. It has diamonds around the heart and the inside is silver, La Virgen is rose-gold. I got this ring from my mom. My mom got it from her god-daughter as a present. My mom decided to give it to me for my 8th grade graduation. The reason she decided to give it to me is because she was really proud of me and she thought it was the right moment to give it to me. To me, the ring is really special because I remember my mom and how happy she was when she gave it to me. I feel protected because it has the emblem or image of la Virgen de Guadalupe. When I don’t have my ring on I feel that something is not right or missing.
