Growing up my family has always been very close. When there was free time we would always spend it swimming, riding bikes, playing games or just hanging out. The first picture I submitted is of a poem my sister wrote about my family. It shows in detail what it was like growing up in my house and what we continue to do to this day. For me, I have grown up knowing how important traditions are. In my family, every holiday is celebrated and every year we celebrate them the same way. Holidays for us always last for many hours and we always create the best memories. For my family keeping traditions are so important and they mean so much to my grandparents and parents. My mom has always been the one person to keep the traditions alive especially the ones she had growing up. I want to continue to create traditions and keep the ones I learned growing up because I feel that is what has made me who I am today. Traditions are so important and continuing them keeps the memories and fun times alive. Having fun and creating memories is what makes my family what we are.
