The clothing of the highlands of Peru is ancestral and traditional, although very diverse since each rural area of ​​the highlands has specific characteristics, with costumes of different colors and shapes.  However, in general terms, it is usually very colorful and elaborated by hand.  This last year for Hispanic Day, my compatriots and I had the privilege of being able to parade in this beautiful city of New York, making known a little about our culture of our beloved country, Peru.
