My artifact is a prayer hat. In the Muslim religion,we call it a Touphee. A touphee is used for wearing when you pray in a prayer mat. In my religion we call a prayer mat a Janamaz. Only male can wear the touphee. The touphee I have is from America and not Bangladesh. However, the touphee can be made anywhere all over the world.The touphee is special to my family because we use it to pray. It is also important because we take them to an important house. God’s house. In my religion God’s house is referred to as Mosque. We also call it “Musgid”. All over the world they are Musgids.People can learn about my religion from the touphee is that, it can be made all over the world. We use it to pray. We also use it when we are in the Musgid. It is a symbol of prayer, reflection, obedience, and love for humanity.
