Ever since I can remember my mom has always used a tortilla press to make homemade corn tortilla every morning. I learned how to make corn tortillas when I was 7 and ever since I have made my own corn tortilla. The tortilla press also known as a tortiador in Spanish is usually made out of metal or wood the tortilla press also has a lever where you can pull down and helps make a round tortilla. The tortilla press shape is usually circle or a square. The tortilla press has been around for at least 100 year (maybe more), tortilla press was invented in 1904.
