My nana, who is pictured in the photo on the left, was an immigrant from Ireland in the 1900's. She was born and raised there until the disease Polio hit. That is when she came over to the US on a ship with her family, heading to Boston, MA. I still have relatives there, which I've never met, but would be awesome to go meet them someday! I dont know all of the details, but that is the most I know! She made a beautiful life here, and had a family of her own. She is still here today and has lived in Massachusetts ever since she moved from Ireland.
