Throw/Scarf
My family artifact is a throw/scarf which was passed down to my father from a great grandmother. My great-grandmother made it and then passed it to my grandpa who then gave it to my dad. My dad brought this throw to America from Ecuador. This family artifact has a sentimental value to me, my dad and part of my family because it reminds us about our family who have passed away and how my dad carried it with him here in the U.S. It remained nice and was passed down from generation to generation and soon to future generations. This artifact is special to me because its reminds me to be proud of my culture and remember the story of the throw. This makes me think about Ecuador and how my great-grandmother was like.
