I came to America in May of the year 2018. I landed in New York. My decision to emigrate was due to my courtship. My boyfriend had given me an ultimatum. I no longer wanted to be in a long-distance relationship. He traveled alone every year to visit me on vacation and he had already gotten tired of the situation and told me either “you come,” or we’ll end the relationship. I made the decision to emigrate since we are engaged and I could not see a life without him. I think it was the best decision because today I have my family; my two beautiful children. They are my reason for living. Thanks to them, today I spend more time with my father, my brother, my nephews and my sister-in-law who I only saw when I went   on vacation in my country. The USA is a beautiful country. I think the country has more opportunities. The people are very nice. There is more opportunity for education. In my country, I left my mother, brother and my friends. I miss them so much every day.
