The Ring
I brought a ring from Venezuela. That ring was the childhood ring of my grandmother, my mother and my brothers. It is silver and has a green pearl. My mom gave it to me one day when I was only 9 years old and I still have it. Now I have met someone special, my best friend, we are going to celebrate 3 years of friendship. When we celebrate 3 years, I want to thank her for being a friend that is always there for me. I want to let her know that I love her very much, so I want her to have that ring later, when her little sister grows up. That ring is very valuable to me. I want her to have that ring too, and to strengthen a great friendship. My friend and I thank the person who gave me the ring, my Mom. That ring is my tradition because it has passed through the entire family to my grandmother, and I will take care of that forever until I grow up and give it to the person who deserves it. I like this story because it connects us with my family and friends and I hope that my decision is correct.
