The Quran
The Quran is single-handedly my go-to book for interpretations of life and fun. you learn from past civilizations and real people, what was good or bad, moral or immoral, important or unimportant. Even though I was born in the U.S., I left after 5 years back to Syria, my home country. I remember when I was in 7th grade there, we had a competition where you had to memorize certain "suar", a collection of verses from the Quran, and you would win prizes. I got 2nd place in group of 50. that accomplishment was very important to me because it meant i could do something, i could achieve anything. what The Quran is important to me because while living in another culture I was raised in, I still had something from the past, to read, and remember my childhood joy.
