My story is about the Dominican Carnival. It is a very important tradition for me and my family because it is an event that is celebrated every year in my country and my culture, on February 27 all the people take to the streets to celebrate and enjoy very colorful costumes and dancing merengue and lots of typical music of my country. Carnival is very important to me because my family has been taking me for a while and it is a very important tradition for my country.

My first year that I dressed up was on 02/27/2018 with a very beautiful black, red and silver costume that my father gave me because he always told him to buy me a costume because I had never dressed up, at the moment I I put it on, I felt very good and happy. After I went to the central park of La Romana it was the greatest emotion in my life because many people asked me for photos and I felt very good.
