The different path

The car that represented everything

The object I chose was a car that gave us good and bad times at once . I say this because I can relate it when me and my family moved here. When my family moved here, I was 8 years old. Did Not speak english old. We were scared and worried about moving here because we weren’t used to anything here. Before we moved back home from Jordan. People told us everything was here like people were in the magic world . Also some people tried to scare us from coming here . I compare this to the car because it was good when we got it, but bad turned on us when the engine failed on us. None of the family had a job because we didn't speak english. My parents did not have enough to pay sometimes. We lived on government assistance. Everything got better  when me and my parents learned  how to speak English. Talking about the car, when the engine failed on us,  bought a “new” one.Nobody believed in us and that's how it’s been for a while,  but we proved them wrong. We put hours on it and worked everyday in winter because we didn’t have enough to pay for an engine change but worked through the hard times and got the job done. Growing up here I felt useless because people used to pick on me. My language wasn’t good. I didn’t know how to interact with people. In middle school I used to get into fights because it was hard.  I used to get bullied. Talking about the car, we put hours and work and people didn’t believe in me and my father. We proved them wrong when they were seen driving on the road.
