The Cousin Stack
In my family Christmas time is when everyone can get together. My grandma started a tradition called the cousin stack which is where all of the cousins get together and take a picture. It started with my oldest cousins and as my family grew so did the family stack and it started as the kids in a stack oldest to youngest but after a couple years the family grew bigger and we could stack anymore so we moved to the stairs. When my grandma was little she migrated from New York to Wisconsin. My grandma loves Christmas because it is the only time my whole family is in the same place at once, and when she was little she didn't have that. My grandma wanted a way to be able to see how her grandchildren (and after a couple years great-grandchildren) grew over the years. Even when my cousin was in the military we still put a picture in his place or tried to facetime him.
