The 65 yr. old Tamalero

Group:

I chose to share our family's tamalero because it has so much history behind it. Every holiday meal shared amongst our family has derived from this pot. My grandma and tias have spent many hours in the kitchen preparing tamales, pozolè, menudo, arroz con leche, and many more meals in this old pot. It holds meaning in my life because it has been passed down from many generations before me, and will continue to be a family heirloom.
