When I was three, I dove into taekwondo and instantly loved it. The whole vibe, the moves, and the focus just hooked me. My favorite weapon was a pair of pink commas—they were small and fit perfectly in my hands, which made practicing a blast.
I still remember my first competition like it was yesterday. I was both pumped and a bit nervous when I spotted my parents in the stands. As soon as the music kicked in, I took a deep breath and zeroed in on my routine. Each spin and strike felt amazing. After I wrapped up, I bowed to the judges and waited on pins and needles for the results.
Then came the moment—I couldn’t believe it when the crowd erupted in cheers, and it turned out I won a gold medal! My parents lifted me in celebration, and I felt so stoked and proud.
That day taught me a lot about hard work and how awesome my family is. Those commas became a special reminder of my wins and passions, pushing me to keep going after my dreams.
