My mother had parents who taught her to be many things such as culture, tradition and many other things. You had to see the past and she went to a school of different ethnicities and cultures where she was taught to respect it and how the tradition of tamales arose in my house.  My grandmother had a mother and she taught her how to make tamales and she made it like my Grandma taught my mother how to make tamales.  She made tamales of different flavors and how to prepare the dough for the tamales and that was where my mother taught me how to make some raisin tamales and at what temperature to cook the tamales so that they are in their exact point and that was like a culture for my family because we ate tamales on holidays and my mother and my grandmother made the tamales.
