My object is a tamale [ta-ma-lea] it is a type of food from Mexico. I chose tamales because for Mexicans we pride ourselves on our food. Tamales require a lot of time and work. In my family when it is time to make tamales we all pitch in. My mom slides the maize dough. My dad is the one who folds them and slides the mole inside. I collect them and put them in a tray. Mayans and Aztecs were a smart group of people. It had to be a smart hungry Mayan or Aztec that created the tamale.
