My object is a mini version of the Taj Mahal. It looks like it’s white, and it has colorful flowers on it with a black outline. It feels like a smooth piece of glass and wax on the colorful parts. It is made out of marble and wax and coloring. The place it came from is India in the Taj Mahal gift shop. The Taj Mahal was given to my family by my grandmother that took my parents to India for the first time. The Taj Mahal is important to my family and me, because my mom is from India and it was the first time my parents went to India together.The Taj Mahal is also important to me because I’m half indian and it is in India. Some of the things we do to that represent my family is half Indian are we eat Indian food sometimes. Some of the things we eat are dahl and rice (lentils and rice)and a lot of curries such as shrimp curry chicken curry and those are the things that my family does to represent our culture.
