This is a photo of most of the movies I have collected through the years. As you can see, I am a huge fan of Barbie. Movies were something I grew up with. I grew up with my grandma, aunt, and uncle. I kind of have an old soul. DVDs were something I grew accustomed to while everyone was advancing in technology. I was getting my steps in by walking back and forth to press play on the DVD player. My aunt and uncle were huge movie collectors. They have everything from movies, to sitcoms, to music, and even VCR tapes. There was always something to watch or listen to. I would never go bored at my grandma's house. I remember my aunt always played my favorite movies when I was sick. As a child I was sick a lot, so having my favorite movie playing was comforting. One of my all-time favorite movies was Wild Wild West with Will Smith. My aunt had it on tape. I love this movie to my core. While it was a little R rated for a kid, my aunt still let me watch it. At the end of the movie there were two music videos.  One was by Will Smith and it had the same title as the movie. The second was by Enrique Iglesias called “Bailamos”. I would spend all my time memorizing the choreography, mimicking all the songs even though I had no clue what they were saying, and fantasizing about being just like the dance girls I saw on the TV. I want my kids to be able to experience this type of nostalgia that I had when I was little. This experience I had when I was little I hope to pass down to my kids, my kids will pass to their kids, and their kids will pass to their kids.
