stuffed dog
This is a stuffed dog that my uncle bought for me when I was two. I was born in South Korea and moved to America when I was only one year old. I grew up in America- it's now my childhood home. The stuffed dog had been bought in Korea, however, and it accompanied me through all of my years living in America, and when I eventually returned to Korea at ten years old, I brought it with me there as well. My parents were busy oftentimes when I was a child, so the dog was like a pseudo-sibling of sorts for me as I grew up. It was with me throughout all of the places I've lived and all of the cultures I've explored and made my own, and it was with me through all of my hard times. I hardly even take it out to look at it anymore as a high schooler, but the memories I've made with it are ones I will always cherish.
