The stethoscope is metal and has a red  layer of leather over it to make it comfortable for my parents who use it. It otherwise looks like any other stethoscope but it has a name plate right by the place where the two ear pieces connect.A stethoscope is used to listen to the heart, this determines if the heartbeat is too high or low and either of them is bad so it is good that we have this device.  This stethoscope was manufactured in Littmann Quality. Which is a quite popular brand for a stethoscope. The object was given to me by- It was one of my mom's first stethoscopes, and I hopefully can become a good doctor and inherit this stethoscope. Being a doctor is a big part of my family. My dad always reminds me that I am going to be sixth generation doctor, and that I will continue the family history. Both of my parents is a doctor which is good because that lets me learn small things that help me in everyday life. I am already excited to be at the idea of becoming a doctor.This is important to me, because this is what I have seen my whole life. It is how I would like to help the people around me, and I will hopefully be able to follow my parents footsteps. It describes part of who I am because- I have always liked to help people, and being a doctor is one great way to help.
