When I was in elementary school my dad gave me his Star Wars action figure collection. The figures were from the Power of the Force line released in the 1990s and featured characters that can hold weapons/tools from other characters so you can mix and match accessories. Personally, my favorite of the action figures was the episode four Luke Skywalker. My dad and I would take all the action figures and divide them into two armies. Vehicles, that were pilotable by the action figures, would be divided between us. Not all of them were even Star Wars. We have a Millennium Falcon and a Tie-Fighter but we also used firetrucks and normal cars. I would play one side, my dad the other; we would each pick a place in the house as our headquarters, and then we would have a battle with our characters. Another thing we used to do all the time was playing the events of the movies with the toys. My favorite scenes to act out were the Wampa escape from episode 5 and the Sarlacc Pit fight from episode 6. My dad and I connected a lot through playing Star Wars together. The collection reminds me of all the fun times I’ve had with my dad.
