Since I was a kid, I have traveled a lot. I visited beautiful places like Guadeloupe, London, Paris, and many more. Each place left a lasting impression, not just in memories, but also in the form of souvenirs that I collected along the way.  In Guadeloupe, I picked up a seashell on the beaches, its delicate patterns reminding me of the evenings spent on the beaches playing with my siblings during sunset. In London, I took beautiful pictures in front of the typical red telephone booth, the London Eye and the Big Ben. Paris is my hometown so the souvenirs are major, from family dinner, my childhood friends and the delicious food.  As I grew up, these memories became windows into past adventures, portals that took me back to the sights, sounds, and smells of each destination. Now, as I look at my collection of souvenirs, I am filled with gratitude for the experiences that shaped me and the places that stole a piece of my heart. And though I may not be able to travel as frequently as before, I know that my souvenirs will always hold a special place in my home and in my memories, keeping the spirit of exploration alive in my heart.
