This object is a retro England shirt for their soccer team back in 1982. This was given to my Dad when he was younger, as a gift from my Grandfather, and now I have it. When I was a lot younger, I used to play soccer with Dad and grandfather so the fact that I still have a shirt that they both had helps me feel connected with them even if I’m in New York and they're not. My direct family moved to New York in 2012 as part of my Dad's job.
