Soccer Field
The soccer field is a huge symbolic meaning in my life. My father, my mother, and my older sister has stepped on that field with so much confidence. All my family members stepped on that field to show how proud they are to play a sport as a family. The soccer field holds all my sweat and anger. It holds laughs that if I go back to the field, I can still hear them. I made friendships there that I know are going to stick with me. The joy I had when I stepped on that field was so different. Now that I'm not able to play soccer, I look back at all the wins and loses I took with my team. I remember scoring the first goal and having so much joy. I also remember having my first injury and thinking that was my last injury. I have 8 more months to feel the sensations of hot grass in my feet. 8 more months till I'm able to make more memories in the same field that ended my dreams for a whole year. A soccer field is where people go and play soccer games. It’s where people play for wins. A soccer field for me is the opposite. I feel like I'm at home when I'm there.
