Soccer has always been my passion. I have played soccer for a majority of my life and it has always been a huge part of who I am. One major part about playing soccer is having cleats to play in. You don’t nessecailry need cleats to play the sport, but for me personally cleats bring another representation and passion of soccer. The smell of new cleats and wearing them for the first time is the most satisfying thing in the world, especially after weeks of internal debate trying to choose the next perfect pair. This process also connects me to my friends and family as I ask for their opinions on how they like the shoe or not. What color, brand, and design is of the upmost importance because when I feel like I am at my best in my soccer uniforms, I play 10 times better. Over the years of playing soccer, talking about cleats has only deepened my bond with friends and to the sport. The cleats I have now only represent the many talks and hours spent into finding them showing a true deeper connection to my cleats.
