The Shirley temple doll is a doll made from a little girl that was really talented she started to sing and dance at the age of only 6. This doll was passed onto my great grandmother and then to my mom's aunt Barbara and then onto my mom Patricia. This object is important to my mom because it was passed down through some people that meant a lot to her. Now the Shirley temple doll is important to me because as my mom passed it down to me it kind of showed me how much it meant to her and how much she didn’t want to pass it down to me by her facial expressions and as soon as I saw that I asked “why is this doll so important to you” and she responded with something I would have never thought of “this doll means so much to me because my aunt that gave this to me , taught me a lot , kind of raised me , gave me advice when I needed it and before I knew it she had cancer and passed away,” and I didn’t know what to feel after that.
