Shabbat candle holders
My objects are Shabbat candle holders. They're used for holding the Shabbat candles. These objects are important to me because they were my moms and she got them at her bat mitzvah. They were a gift so she doesn't know where they came from, but they’re really pretty. They have tiny dots on the base and that’s why I like them. :) I chose the candle holders because as I said before, they’re really pretty. When my mom suggested them my brain said, ‘sure! It might teach me about Jewish things!’ and my brain was right because it kinda did teach me about Jewish things. They are also important because they are important to my mom, and my mom is an important person in my life. It relates to my culture, because I’m Jewish and Jews celebrate Shabbat. I am not very familiar with any Jewish holiday except for Hanukkah so I actually didn't really know that much about Shabbat. I also didn't know that my mom had Shabbat candlesticks and that they were even a thing! So if my mom is reading this, will you teach me a bit about Jewish holidays?
