Seashells
My family owns condos in Florida that my grandma and grandpa go to every winter instead of staying in Minnesota. I went there every spring and summer from when I was 2 years old to when I was 7. I went to Florida with my mom, my sister, my cousins, and my aunts and uncles. My mom would never leave without a souvenir, which would usually be sand, or seashells, or something from the beach. In her bathroom, she would collect these seashells, taking one or two each time she went to Florida. She also went to Florida. This time that I spent in Florida really shaped who I am, and it’s where I learned a lot of my Spanish, and it’s where I learned my love for warm weather, palm trees, and tropical fruits.
