Seashell
I have been going to Cape Cod with my parents, brother, grandparents, and aunt ever since I was a baby, and this shell reminds me of my memories from Cape Cod. This shell is a half-circle pinkish looking shell, and if you move your fingernail on the ridges near the hole, it makes an interesting sound. Our vacation house is near the beach, so if we want to travel to the beach, we don’t have to go very far. The beach is a very relaxing and beautiful place. My brother and I always have so much fun when we are at the beach. We collect shells and other things. This shell looked very interesting to me when I first collected it. It reminded me of the Cape when I put it near my ear. I like to think this shell connects to migration because of all of the places it traveled before it came to me. It’s been with me since the day I brought it home. When I do get the time, I look at this shell to remind me of the second home I have at the Cape. I hope that this shell will stay in my heart just like the Cape which is in my heart forever. The shell reminds me of all the memories my family and I have made in Cape Cod.
