My object is a mini sandal you put on a keychain. My grandma gave it to my mother when she first moved to New York from Puerto Rico she was about 11 years old. She remembered being the airplane saying goodbye to her mother, she has never visited Puerto Rico again. This represents my Spanish Culture because it came straight from Puerto Rico. The reason this is important to my family is because it reminds us of Puerto Rico and it is really special because my mom got it from Puerto Rico. I will never forget when my mom told me the story about the sandal I really love this little gift my mother got soon she will give it to me.
