Russian Passport
I was adopted from Vladivostok, Russia when I was around 2 months old. One of my two mothers and my grandfather came to get me, they got on a plane from Minnesota all the way to Russia. My grandfather got food poisoning along the way (and blamed my mom for it). I was born on September 11th of 2001. I was supposed to be born in October but I was a bit early.
I chose my Russian passport as my item because it’s proof that I exist and that I moved here. People say I look like my adoptive mother so they never really ask me too much questions on my past, except for my age, that’s only because I look and sound 12. My passport shows that I’m different than everyone else and that it’s not a bad thing to be unique, even when everyone asks why you’re there (and if I’m communist, it’s been asked at least 3 times so I honestly stopped trying to answer weird questions like those).
