The rosary in this picture is a gift from my dad. He got it for me when we went to Aguascalientes. When we were visiting his family, we went to the church my dad went to when he was younger. We brought rosaries that we got at the market to get them blessed by a priest. My dad is from Aguascalientes and he immigrated to the United States when he was 6 years old. I picked this item because I keep it by my bedside and see it every night. While I am not religious, I like how my family is able to connect through religion because it brings the family together more for family events.
