Rosario

Relationship: Im/migrant

My object is a rosario.  It is from the Dominican Republic.  It’s an object of the church.  My family uses the rosario to pray to thank God.  When I was younger, my parents taught me to thank God by praying with a rosario. The rosario is very important for me because, since I was small, I learned to pray.  So when I baptized my children 15 years ago, a priest gave me a rosario in memory of the communion and baptism of my children.  I have a lot of faith in the rosario.  When I have a problem, I pray the rosario.  My rosario is made of plastic.  I love my rosario.
