Rolling Pin and Pasta Board
My great-great-grandma was named Aldeline. She immigrated from Italy to the United States sometime around the 1940s. She came to the US for a better job; and to be honest: and overall just a better opportunity. She loved to make pasta, ravioli, and tortellini. So, when she let for the US, she brought a pasta board and a rolling pin with her. She met an American man in Pennsylvania, and eventually married him. She settled into her farmhouse for the rest of her life. She gave the board and pin to my great-grandma, who gave it to my grandpa, who gave it to his wife; my grandma. This rolling pin and board is very important to me because it reminds me about the true stories of my family, and it also makes me wonder; what future awaits us.
