A gift from my mother
A gift from my mother

My mother is the most important person in my life. Her hard work and everything she does to give the world to my sister and me, she inspires me to never give up on what I want. Sometimes my mother feels like anything she does isn't good enough, but on my point of view she doesn't need to give me any presents because her presence is enough for me to have her in my life. On my 15th birthday, she gave me a ring as a present that she bought in Panama that represents my culture, the gift has "15" written on it that will remind me that in from my native country in how beautiful it is in many ways. That present became very precious to me because it is an important gift from my mother to me, that will always remind me of her and my favorite gift from her to me. This ring represents me because it remembers me when I wasn't as confident and at some point weak, but it also represents the love my mom showed me when she gave me this ring. This story is very important for me because it has very good reasons behind it, in why is precious for me, and that I won't forget about. It connects me to my mom because she was the reason behind the ring. My mother is a very sensitive person and sometimes is hard for me seen her vulnerable, she thinks that not many people understand her feelings but I feel like I'm the only one who understands her even if she tried to hid her because we are both the same but I always try to bring a smile to her face. I'll always be thankful for that birthday ring.
