Ring
The object that represents my immigration experience is a silver ring that shines. It has an intense brightness and shows a blue lion. I keep it inside my suitcase and I wear it on the ring finger. It is made from silver and gold, and I wear it everyday on my hand. My great grandfather gave it to my grandfather when he was small and he told him to give it to whom he wanted. Then, he was very important to me, as the rings for me now is important because it's from my late grandfather. The ring connects to my immigration experience because it gave me the strength to keep going. Something very small that can help you a lot, so it teaches others that.
Next, I will tell you an anecdote that happened to me with my ring. I was in school and had some problems with some former friends and the problem was really tough and seeing the ring gave me strength and reminded me of my grandfather's words when he told me I was strong and would never give up.
My ring is important to me because it was given to me by the most important person for me, my grandfather, 4 years ago.
